Two Days in Athens
We arrived in Athens Greece on Thursday June 20th and spent two days at Acropolis View Hotel. Visited the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and Olympic Stadium home of the first modern games in 1896.
Ancient Akrotiri & Santorini Island (June 23, 2019)
We went on a bus tour to Akrotiri which is a Minoan Bronze Age settlement destroyed in the Theran eruption sometime in the 16th century BC and buried in volcanic ash. Then we walked around Oia on the islands of Thira (Santorini) and ended in the captial of Santorini, Fira. From here we took a cable car back down to the water taxi back to the ship.
